Both the major indexes of the Domestic Stock Markets resumed a climb on Monday courtesy to robust purchasing in the banking, oil, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) firms. Both the Sensex and the Nifty saw gains of almost 1%.
The 30-share BSE Sensex finished the day up 468.38 points, or 0.76%, at 61,806.19. During the trade, it reached a high of 507.11 points at one time. In the same vein, the NSE Nifty increased by 151.45 points to closed at 18,420.45 points.
