Impact of Shapoorji Pallonji’s exit from Tata Group

Citing its concern over unusually long litigation with Tata Sons; Shapoorji Pallonji’s group headed by Cyrus Mistry, offered to exit Tata Sons if provided with an ‘early resolution’ and a ‘fair and equitable solution’. The statement was made in the Supreme Court by senior advocate Aryam Sundaram representing the SP Group on 22nd September.

Shapoorji Pallonji’s stakes in Tata Sons

Shapoorji Pallonji and Tata Sons are in a relationship for over seven decades. SP Group currently holds an 18.37% stake in Tata Sons, one of the holding companies of the Tata Group.
