The market fell for two straight days on the final trading day of the business week. Both stock market indices closed lower on Friday. The decline in IT and energy stock prices is thought to be the cause of this. Sensex lost 365 points on Friday, as the Nifty ended below the 19300 points. The rupee lost 13 paise versus the dollar on the last day as well.

The market’s two-day rise came to a stop on the last trading day of the week. Sensex dropped 365 points on Friday, as the Nifty ended below 19,300 points. It is thought that the decrease in IT and energy stock prices is to blame for this decline.

The BSE Sensex finished at 64,886.51, down 365.83 points or 0.56 percent, down for the second day in a row. It decreased 519.77 points, or 0.79 percent, over the day to reach 64,732.57. The NSE Nifty finished at 19,265.80, down 120.90 points or 0.62 percent, at the same time.

Top Gainers and losers

Losses were recorded in the Sensex pack closing for Larsen & Toubro, JSW Steel, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid, ITC, Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, HDFC Bank, ITC, Reliance Industries, and Tata Motors. The biggest gainers in the market today were Bajaj FinServ, Asian Paints Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, and Axis Bank.

Petroleum Today

Petrol-Diesel prices have been issued by government fuel firms. Check the prices of fuel before leaving the house. Because, despite declining crude oil prices, fuel is still sold in several states for more than Rs 100 per Liter. In Odisha, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, diesel costs more than Rs 100. In all districts of Bihar, Kerala, Maharashtra, Telangana, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Punjab, Manipur, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, petrol has surpassed Rs 100.

Petrol rates in these cities exceed Rs 100

In Mumbai, a liter of petrol costs Rs 106.31 and a liter of diesel costs Rs 94.27. Petrol costs Rs.107.24 per liter in Patna, while diesel costs Rs.94.04 per liter. In Jaipur, a Liter of petrol costs Rs 108.48 and a Liter of diesel costs Rs 93.72.  Petrol costs Rs 102.63 in Chennai, while diesel costs Rs 94.24. Petrol costs Rs 108.66 per liter in Indore, while diesel costs Rs 93.94.

Petrol in these cities costs less than Rs 100

In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a Liter of petrol costs Rs 96.50 and a Liter of diesel costs Rs 89.68. In Amritsar, Punjab, petrol costs Rs 98.74 and diesel costs Rs 89.04 a liter. Petrol in Delhi remains constant at Rs 96.72 per Liter and diesel at Rs 89.62. Petrol costs Rs 96.42 per liter in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, while diesel costs Rs 92.17. Petrol costs Rs 96.79 in Delhi-NCR’s Noida, while diesel costs Rs 89.96. Petrol costs Rs 96.20 per liter in Chandigarh, while diesel costs Rs 84.26. In Faridabad, Haryana, petrol costs Rs 97.49 and diesel costs Rs 90.35 a liter. Petrol costs Rs 96.57 a liter in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, while diesel costs Rs 89.76.
