On the flip side, today’s top gainers included NTPC, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Reliance Industries, JSW Steel, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, and Mahindra & Mahindra.
Currency Movement:- While the stock market experienced fluctuations, the Indian currency showed a marginal increase against the dollar. In the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened at 83.13 against the greenback. Throughout the day, the rupee fluctuated between an intraday low of 83.14 and a high of 83.08, ultimately closing at 83.11 (provisional) against the dollar. This reflects a 1 paise increase from its previous close of 83.12 against the US dollar on Wednesday.
