The local stock markets reopened on Thursday, with the Sensex rising 99 points as a result of heavy buying in the final hour of trading. The Sensex closed up 98.98 points at 61,872.62 on the last day of monthly contract settlement in the futures and options segment. During trading, it reached a high of 61,934.01 points and a low of 61,484.66 points. The Nifty began poorly. However, it eventually closed at 18,321.15, up 35.75 points.
The stock market has surged on the final trading day of the week. The BSE Sensex closed at 62,501.69, up 629.07 points, and the NSE Nifty closed at 18,499.35, up 178.20 points.
The Sensex increased 574 points to 62446, led by Reliance Industries. It had once surpassed 62500. Today, Reliance shares have increased by 2.50 percent. HCL Tech, UltraTech Cement, Wipro, Tata Steel, and Hindustan Unilever are also experiencing growth. Power Grid and Bharti Airtel are the only stocks in the Sensex that have fallen slightly. Nifty, on the other hand, has gained 65 points to reach the level of 18482.
The stock market got off to a strong start on Friday, the week’s first last day. Today, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s Major Sensitive Index Sensex opened 112 points higher at 61985. In contrast, the Nifty began trading at 18368, up 47 points. In early trade, the Sensex was at 61981, up 109 points from the previous day’s close of 62000. Nifty is currently trading at 18356, up 35 points.
On Friday, the shares of eight of Adani Group’s ten companies were trading in the green. Adani Total, Adani Transmission, NDTV, Adani Power, Adani Wilmar, ACAC, Adani Enterprises, and Ambuja Cement were all up in early trade, in addition to Adani Port and Adani Green.
NTPC, UPL, Tata Consumer, Reliance, and Bajaj Finserv were the top gainers on the Nifty, while Grasim, Eicher Motors, Axis Bank, Sun Pharma, and Power Grid were the top losers. In terms of sectoral indices, Nifty Bank, Nifty Financial Services, Nifty Pharma, Nifty Private Bank, Healthcare, and Consumer Durables were all down in early trade. Oil & Gas, Auto, IT, Metal, PSU Bank, Realty, Media, and FMCG, on the other hand, were up.
