On Friday, September 15, the final trading day of the week, the stock market saw another rise. The Sensex and Nifty stock market indices both ended the day in the black. The Sensex gained 319.63 points on the latest trading day to settle at 67,838.63.
Nifty increased 89.25 points, ending the day at 20,192.35. Today, Bank Nifty increased by 230 points to settle at 46,231. While BSE Small Cap closed at 37,828 with a gain of 102 points, BSE Mid Cap closed at 32,505 with a gain of 30 points.
Top gainers and losers on the Sensex
Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL Tech, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Axis Bank, and Nestle were the top gainers and losers of the Sensex. The biggest loses included NTPC, Bajaj FinServ, Hindustan Unilever, and Asian Paints.

The biggest gainers were Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp, Grasim, and HCL Tech.
NTPC, Asian Paint, Jio Financial, HUL, Tata Consumer Products, Britannia, and Bajaj Finserv were among the biggest losses in terms of stock price.
Crude oil prices rise
Benchmark Brent crude for world oil increased 0.26 percent to US$93.94 per barrel. According to exchange statistics, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) purchased equities on Thursday, for a total of Rs 294.69 crore.
