According to the data, with a total of ₹ 1.6 lakh crore, the month of March had the second-highest GST collection ever. Next, 8.18 crore e-way bills were produced in February. A record GST collection of ₹ 1.67 lakh crore was accomplished earlier in April of the previous year.

According to GSTN statistics, 5.78 crore e-way invoices and 3.3 crore permits were created in March for intrastate and interstate transportation of goods, respectively. In this manner, a total of 9.09 crore e-way bills were produced in March. March is the last business month of the fiscal year, thus there is an increase. Business activity has exploded in such circumstances. According to analysts, pressure is on all businessmen to meet the annual sales goal because of the previous month. Through smartphone applications, these businesses offer these services to Indian residents. The tax authorities are figuring out how to stop this kind of avoidance.
