The Summit Hall at Bharat Mandapam is now hosting the first session of the 18th G20 Summit, titled “One Earth.” The G20 summit is being held in India for the first time, and the two-day gathering began today.  India has this time very nearly achieved the impossibility. The G-20 nations might decide to give 5% to the debt-ridden nations. These nations made more than 3900 pledges in this respect during the most recent G-20 conference, of which only around 67% could be carried out. Several significant agreements were reached between India and America just one day before the nation’s biggest international gathering, the G-20 Summit.

  1. An agreement for 5G and 6G technologies was struck. The operator and vendor will work together in a public-private environment to complete this. The creation of a task force.
  2. The University of New York and the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur will establish a cooperative research facility, as agreed upon during the Biden-Modi summit.
  3. Similar facilities will be established at IIT Delhi, Kanpur, and BHU.
  4. At IIT Kanpur and the University of New York-Tendon, an advanced research center will be constructed.
  5. To facilitate collaboration between the IIT Council and the Association of American Universities, a $1 billion fund will be established.
  6. The US recognized India’s contribution to the establishment of the semiconductor supply chain. A technological business focused on microchips would spend Rs 2,500 crore in India. 3,300 Crore will be invested by Advanced Micro Devices Company.
  7. NASA-ISRO will finish developing the architecture for manned space missions by the end of the year.
  8. Acceptance of 31 General Atomics MQ-9B purchases. 16 of these unmanned aircraft will be used for air security and 15 for maritime security. This will improve the military forces’ capacity for observation.
  9. An understanding of working together to develop small modular nuclear reactor technologies. The United States encouraged India to join the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
  10. The US and India, both nations have approved cooperation, investment, training programs, and skill development in new renewable energy trials.
  11. The Indo-US military Acceleration Ecosystem (Indus-X) will also include startups in the military industry. Cooperation will be between Penn University of America, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Hyderabad.
  12. GE Aerospace and HAL discussed the status of the GE F-414 engines being produced in India.
  13. Following the agreement between the US Navy and Mazagon Dock Ship Builders, the US would offer further support for the growth of India’s capability for repair and overhaul.
  14. In order to lower carbon emissions in the transportation sector, both parties encouraged the growth of electric cars. Additionally, the US will assist in delivering 10,000 electric buses made in India as part of the Indian Prime Minister’s e-Bus service initiative.
  15. The agenda for the innovation ecosystem is called “Innovation Hands-on.” Under this, we’ll bring together government representatives, business investment departments, private equity firms, and venture capital firms.
