The month of June has begun. This month has a number of crucial financial deadlines. If you do not finish your assignment before the deadline, you may face serious consequences.   • Banks, foreign exchange dealers, and other reporting companies have a few additional days to file SFT filings for 2022-23 in order to disclose high-value customer transactions. Explain that the deadline for reporting financial transaction details (SFT) for the fiscal year 2022-23 was May 31st. Delays in filing SFT returns might result in a penalty of up to ₹1,000 per day.
  • You will now have to spend more money to get an electric bike or scooter. The FAME-II subsidy amount has been lowered by the Ministry of Heavy Industries. It is now ₹10,000 per kWh. In such a case, most electric automobiles can cost between ₹25,000 and ₹35,000.
  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will launch a drive to recover unclaimed bank deposits. This ‘100 Days 100 Payments’ is the campaign’s name. The Reserve Bank has already issued directions to banks in this respect.
  • It is expected that GoFirst air services will resume in June. The firm had filed for voluntary bankruptcy due to the debt. Along with this application, flying services have been halted since May 3rd.
  • Banks will be closed for 12 days in various states around the country in June. There may be a problem with the exchange of ₹2,000 notes issued in bank offices these days. However, there is still time till September 30 to swap ₹2000 notes.
